Dr. Vivek Khandelwal

Dr. Vivek Khandelwal is an experienced Urologist based in New Delhi, where he practises at the Khandelwal Hospital and Urology Centre, an establishment that has NABH and NABL accreditation.

Dr. Khandelwal was selected for admission at GSVM Medical College in 1980. He cleared the final MBBS examination in 1985 and completed his internship in 1986. He then studied for the MS (General Surgery) qualification at the same institution, while working as Demonstrator (Surgery). He was simultaneously involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching as well. Dr. Khandelwal cleared his MS in December 1989, and continued as Senior Resident (Surgery) for about six months. He then joined SGPGIMS, Lucknow, as Senior Resident in Endocrine Surgery for six months. In January 1991, Dr. Khandelwal moved to PGIMER Chandigarh for the MCh (Urology) degree, successfully completing the course and obtaining this postgraduate qualification in January 1993. He served as Chief Resident (Urology) at PGIMER during this period.

Dr. Vivek Khandelwal commenced professional practice in February 1993. Over the years he has gained vast experience in performing all types of endoscopic, endourological and reconstructive urological surgery independently. He has been associated with major hospitals in Ghaziabad and East Delhi and has performed more than 18,000 urological surgeries till date. He has chaired many national, regional and local scientific sessions and debates, and has been actively involved in many workshops all over India. A regular invitee as faculty member at various NCR surgical forums, Dr. Khandelwal's aim is to excel and further refine his skills, with plans to commence renal transplantation in future.
